Green Tips

If you're using incandescent bulbs, think about replacing your on/off switches with dimmers. (Special dimmers are available for fluorescent bulbs and low voltage halogens - be sure to get the right dimmers for the bulbs.) Dimmers give you more control over lighting levels, and when you dim the lights, you use less energy. If you find that you're always dimming the lights, maybe you should replace your bulbs with lower wattages.

Access the data

This page makes historical data available through a simple form. Simply select a data point, enter a time range, and choose what kind of data you want: interpolated data is given on the interval you specify, while original data is what is stored directly in the database at irregular intervals - most queries should use interpolated data. Advanced statistical analysis is also available. There are 6000 data points in total, so not all of them are available here; if you would like something included that isn't listed, please contact us. Alternately, you can download a more advanced graphing and analysis tool from the sidebar (within Queen's Campus only).

Values will need to be saved in a text file with the extension .CSV. Then they can be opened in any program. If a timeout occurs, try reducing the date range or increasing the interval.
